2013 Jeep Grand CherokeeMike Lee - Janesville, CA08/11/2016
Appears to be reliable. Fuel economy bearable. Capable of modest towing. Sure footed (can do mild off-roading).
In a nutshell, it is quite a bit of vehicle for the price I paid in today's market. While I'm not a fan of electronic automatics, this one seems to shift in a sensible fashion and with no strange anomalies so far. I have already taken the vehicle on a 3k mile road trip, camping out of the back of it for 4 of the 7 days I was on the road and it performed admirably. With 1000 pounds of me and my gear in it and ON it (I've added rood racks), I got 16mpg overall, including some dirt driving and HARD pushing it hard interstates. In normal use with just me and my lady aboard it gets every bit of the 23mpg claimed by Jeep.
Perfect size SUV
2012 Jeep Grand CherokeeLJ Ferreira - Richmond, VA03/25/2016
This is the first SUV I've ever owned. I had a four door sedan for the previous 10 years and wanted something with 4x4 but not too big. It's got plenty of room in the back seats for two kids. The cargo area is huge and even more so when fold the back seats down. It's a smooth ride even with the larger tires. 3.6L engine gives it plenty of power. The gas mileage has been surprisingly good, about 20/mpg city use which is better than I was expecting. Finally, it's got a great look.
Great looking jeep but unfortunately issues.
2011 Jeep Grand CherokeeKaren C - Baltimore, MD06/04/2015
I love my jeep. Unfortunately less then 3 months later it broke down and was in the shop for two weeks for a transmission issue. A month later now I have to take it back because something else is leaking under the engine. Not happy. Now I am worried it will break down again. Not a good feeling
