Reliable car with plenty of options. V6 engine has plenty of pick up when needed and it is great on gas mileage. If you are looking for more space, the ES350 is a great option as opposed to the IS250/IS300. The car lacks sportiness as opposed to the Honda Accord V6 I owned, however, it is still fun to drive and handles very well. The car responds quickly under acceleration, braking, and steering, and is a smooth drive. The heated/cooled seats are great for warm and cold weather. The features offered on the Lexus ES are decent for its class. Highly recommend the Navigation System and Backup camera

Rides like a dream!! I am so IN LOVE with this car I just can't wait until the next time I drive it. Great buy for a luxuary vehicle, won't lose value and will ride forever.
Quiet and smooth

Having had the Lexus ES350 for about 6 weeks now, I can say that I really enjoy this car. It's smooth and very quiet with excellent acceleration. If you're looking for a German engineering type of car with strong road and handling feel, this is not it. If instead you value a cushy and comfortable ride, while still maintaining responsive steering and a fairly tight turning radius, this may be the car for you.
I'm averaging around 22 mpg around town. Although it may not feel like it in the same way as some sportier cars, this car can really fly and has an extremely responsive engine. If I'm on the freeway and need a sudden burst of speed, it's no issue at all. This car is gone in a flash--even though it does it all very quietly.
Like the typical Toyota family of cars, I have the sense in driving it that it will just go and go and go as long as it gets all its routine maintenance done--unlike some European cars that are fun to drive but very unreliable, spending way too much time in the shop for repairs.
There are plenty of bells and whistles on the Lexus, including things such as ventilated seats, all of which give it a nice and luxurious feel. Combined with attractive body styling (mine has a striking dark gray exterior), this is a very appealing and enjoyable to drive car.
Luxury cars come in all shapes and sizes, but they are all expected to look good and perform well. One advantage of buying a used luxury car is that you get the luxury look-and-feel that you want at a more affordable price.
