Basically this vehicle is the best for the money in its class. Less expensive than most of the competitors and just as good or greater quality than most. The engine power is a little on the conservative side for a SUV this size (larger than all the competitors which is great for your inside passenger capacity). Well you can't have everything all the time when you are so close to perfection. Anyway everyone who purchases one of these luxury SUV is not always looking to tow a freight train or go to the race track. All you need is basic great performance and handling and thats what you get with these Lincoln SUV's. Of course you could purchase the next closest SUV to the Lincoln in size and style (American made) and pay much more and get either the same or less in many areas of style, handling and capacity rating. For instance in comparison with the Escalade you get little less power but much more leg and comfort space. Dont even compare in size or space with any other SUV other than the Cadillac and it is much further ahead in comfort. The Cadillac SUV depending on the options chosen the Lincoln still runs only slightly behind. Its ride is much more quieter than the CADDY and it extensively well designed to provide a totally uncompromising ride in comparison at 5 star or 10 level rating. Thats much more than the Caddy could ever compare with. The Caddy is a bling bling ( hey LOOK AT ME) type of SUV but the Lincoln is a bling bling (Ill be me u be u and we both still real cool and u goin to look at me anyway). U CANT BEAT THE VALUE FOR WHAT U GETTIN FOR WHATS OUT THERE IN THIS CLASS USED OR NEW!
I bought my navigator at carmax approx 9 years ago and i am 5K miles away from 200K miles with no mechanical breakdowns yet! In addition to being a comfortable ride that hauls and holds a lot of stuff, mine has been so reliable over many years! Compared to the maintenance for luxury vehicles like Mercedes, my Navi is very low maintance and without any electrical or engine issues. Only con is that is does use a lot of gas. Stellar vehicle, will be back to Carmax for my next used Navi by the end of the year!
The front grill does not look elegant, the dashboard is horrible. I do not understand how an American brains like Lincoln has a very simple dashboard on the drivers side and an ugly rectangular box so big and completely unattractive on the passengers side. I own a 1999 Lincoln Navigator that looks way better than this new model. I was ready to buy this new model , but I was so disappointed with it that I just walked away. The Cadillac Escalade is so much better, beautiful , elegant and just perfect.
