When I finally outgrew my JCW MINI Cooper S, I went looking for a 4 door sedan to replace it as my daily driver / once-in-a-while track car. I chose the Evo MR primarily because of the twin-clutch automatic. After being a stick driver for many years, it's taking some getting used to, but now that I finally am... wow... this thing is cool! Gas mileage is pretty poor for a 4 cylinder car (~20mpg), but you don't get 300hp and all wheel drive for free. I don't commute, so I don't really care that much about it. Overall... couldn't be happier with the car - it performs every bit as well as I expected it to. Now to go beat it up and little and really see what it can do!
Overall the car is a blast. Comfortable to drive and very sporty. It is average when your just cruising then when you hit the gas pedal it let's loose. It is very fun to drive fits my family and when I feel the need to just pick up speed it does it flawlessly.
Right Car for this Economy
2007 Mitsubishi LancerGranny - Park Forest, IL09/02/2008
This is my first Mitsubishi car. I am very please with it. Down sizing from a 6 cylinder and a larger car to a 4 cylinder isn't to bad. I am learning to give it more gas when entering the highway. It is great on gas and is very comfortable for four people and rides very smoothly. The economy being the way it is, a Mitsubishi Lancer is the car to have.
