It is a very fun car to drive. It has plenty of power for back road goofing off and has sporty lines that look great. With the top down, the air flows over the cabin perfectly. When you drive, you can tell the designers put a lot of time into the airflow design. I really only drive it on the weekends for fun through the Summer when the weather is nice. I have taken one road trip with it and had an absolute blast driving the whole trip. My Grandmother even enjoyed cruising around in it.
Just a fun, fast car to drive. Lots of power and a comfortable ride when cruising. Stiff, responsive steering, makes it feel like a race car. When shifting the 6 speed manual trans, she just keeps giving more and more power. Before you know it, you're cruising at 80 mph. :D
Spyder Eclipse Review
2007 Mitsubishi Eclipsepretty lady - WV05/09/2009
My husband and I test drove a 2007 Spyder Eclipse GT convertible. He is 6'3 and I'm 5'2. He was too tall to be comfortable in the car and I felt too small for the car. This is definitely not a car for back seat riding. The seats are extremely small. The seat didn't slide up as far as I would have liked it to. It was a 6 speed - reverse is all the way to the left and up. we took the top down and couldn't get it to come back up. The release point of the clutch was when the clutch was let almost completely out. It was a horrible experience. I was looking forward to possibly purchasing an eclipse but not after that. I don't know if it was that particular one or if they're like that.
