Transmission: Automatic Color:Black Interior Color: Gray Average Vehicle Review: (4.5 reviews) Handles like a sports car! Very fast and agile....Stops on a dime and pulls my 22' boat with ease.....Turns on a dime and easy to park in small places....I recently took it camping and slept in the back like a tent.....good ground clearance for these bumpy flood prone Houston streets!

Transmission: Automatic Color:Black Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.5 reviews) this SUV is perfect for everything, handles and rides great on the highway and paved roads. Off road is where it is most at home. I took mine to Moab, UT and went over trails like Poison Spider Mesa, I had more looks form people that took custom built off roaders and many wondering how I got this up there without breaking it. it has very long suspension travel for a SUV I was amazed by the amount of travel. to my surprise I had the A/C on the whole time I did not even notice and the engine temp never rose above normal

Nissan Xterra Off-Road

The Nissan Xterra Off-Road is a fantastic vehicle that meets all of my needs and a few more. The combination of power and versitility make the Xterra perfect for any serious outdoor enthusiast. I can throw all of my gear in my Xterra and not worry about messing up the uplolstery or if it will all fit inside. The Xterra has loads of room but is not bulky or obtrusive on the outside or inside. It has reasonable gas mileage - around 21-23 mpg on the highway. I feel great driving the Xterra because it is incredibly comfortable and dependable.

My only complaint..............

My only complaint about this vehicle is the low gas mileage, but that's what you get with a 4X4 and I wouldn't trade that in!!!! This is a well built rig with enough amenities for a comfortable ride but definitely not a luxury ride. It's great off road and easy to handle. With the back seat sitting higher than the front, it makes it comfortable for the rear passengers with room for storage in the back, but it's not a full size SUV, so you have to pack light sometimes. I would absolutely buy another Xterra and would reccomend it to a friend without hesitation.

Overall solid

Overall stable. Gas mileage not so good but overall an off road minded vehicle. A little light weight so real snow causes problems. Stable Japanese product, I would give it 3.5 stars but not able. In grade terms somewhere between C-C+. No auxiliary jack in the S model I have but CD/stereo. Not bad transport for regular sized folks, toddler/child seat causes problems with space, a little cramped.
