This is my third Outback Limited. I transport dogs for a Golden Retriever rescue organization. The sunroof, leather seats, AWD, and interior/cargo room make it ideal for that purpose. I am getting great gas mileage for an SUV. The ride is comfortable and fairly quiet. My only two complaints are minor...the headrest has an uncomfortable tilt for someone who is short and the panel with the clock is difficult to read during the day. The Outback is fun to drive and looks good too.
Reliable and worth every penny!

Handles well in all weather conditions and all types of terrain as well as great gas mileage (average of 25mpg mostly highway). Reliable, low cabin noise and has more than enough space inside for passengers and cargo. Quality of the vehicle is spectacular. Comfortable leather seats and seat warmers.
For living in the west, specifically Colorado, Subaru Outbacks are THE car to own. Yes, I understand that station wagons are not "hip" or cool, but this car is not about being hip or cool, but rather being able to get where you want to go up in the hills safely and with little trouble. And speaking of little trouble, any Subaru, with its all-wheel-drive, will allow you to get around town or the state in snowy weather, with little or no trouble. The Outback is safe and one of the most reliable vehicles out there!
