The 2020 Tesla Model 3 delivers rapid acceleration, agile handling, and advanced technology like Autopilot and entertainment features. Owners appreciate its fuel savings and low maintenance, while some note road noise and limited backseat space as drawbacks. With impressive efficiency and reliability, it stands out as a strong choice in the EV market.
it’s clean and convenient I love it
great ride, with smooth and quiet driving manners and a quick acceleration. has a very sporty feel to the drive
virtually no maintenance costs, and the cost to charge is very minimal.
love the style of the car inside and out
the side and rear visibility is limited
With a home charger - which feels like a must have, I have cut my fuel/energy consumption costs by over 75%.
EVs generate full torque from a stop. It's the go-kart experience. It's by no means the fastest car, but it feels faster because of the torque spike.
The car is capable of driving itself. Not that you should take a nap and trust it, but it takes a lot of stress out of driving when there is minimal traffic and construction. The car also has all sorts of cool gimmicks, like built-in video games that my daughter loves, and built in wireless phone chargers, the ability to preheat the car via the Tesla app, etc. Just a ton of little things that make ownership more enjoyable.
To compensate for the heavy battery packs, the suspension is rough. Think truck rough.
The build quality is not as bad as people on the internet make it out to be, but it definitely has more of a Kia vibe than a Lexus vibe. When they were $50k+ new, this is a legit concern. But in the low $20ks with low mileage, it is something that can be overlooked.
Honestly, I want to say that the steering radius is bad. But, that is not an option. Nor is any other choice close to it. The Model3 is not a pretty car. Rodney Dangerfield wouldn't trade his wife's looks for the bubble design of the Model3. But I never really cared about looks. If I'm driving, I'm not worried about what the car or interior looks like. I'm focused on the driving experience and safety. And it thrives at that.
