Transmission: Automatic Color:White Interior Color: Tan Average Vehicle Review: (4.833 reviews) This is one of the true remaining SUVs out there. The body-on-frame chassis allows for the truck like ride. If you're looking for the crossover/car-like ride, this is not your beast. This is for driving to work during the week and getting dirty on the weekends; or both. The redesigned grill gives the SR5 a sinister look that turns quite a few heads. Rugged lines stay true to the previous 4 generations, keeping the original 4Runner look there. The power back window is still one of the coolest concepts and separates the 4Runner from it's competitors. The interior is spacious. I recently drove across country and back and did not feel cramped in any way. My only gripe with the entire truck is the touch screen entertainment/navigation.

Overall Rating

4.7 out of 5(314 reviews)

4 out of 5 stars, above decent.

Bought this for my wife. Interior of the limited editions is very nice. We have the 4 wheel drive version with hydraulic shocks, considering it is a 4 wheel drive, the ride is extremely smooth. However, the steering is completely numb and somewhat floaty. The engine seems somewhat underpowered for the vehicle, but the 4 cylinder version is horrendous. All and all we're pretty satisfied with the vehicle. Gas mileage could be better. We get between 20 and 22 highway, have gotten 23 drafting an 18 wheeler. Don't drive much in the city but i guess it would be around 16-17. The "Eco" mode/indicator is really pointless.

Great experience with 4Runner

My 4Runner has been great since the day I bought it. Have yet to have any issues with it. Rides great - the drive is smooth, quiet, and you're in control. It's a fun experience. To be honest I probably don't make the most of the space the 4Runner offers - I'm typically driving on my own and rarely hauling large loads around. But I have loved it for the few housing moves I've made over the past couple of years.

Wonderful capable reliable car!

The 4Runner is an incredibly reliable car, comfortable ride and it will last a long time. I bought this car because I needed something bigger to tow my boat and it tows my 19' powerboat with no problems at all. It has a 5,000lb tow capacity and I'm well below that so no worries. It's a great car, the limited edition has more technology than some newer models. These things hold their value and you will own it for years. Great purchase.
