Reviews for Toyota
Rav4, Most functional, fun car ever!
Toyota is bomb-proof. This is my 3rd Rav4. Right now I own a 2002, 2015 and now a 2010 (V6!). Had my 2010 about 3 months. Got it with 74k miles but am confident the V6 is typically tougher than nails. Sold our 1999 V6 Camry with 240k miles-it was never in the shop except for standard maintenance. This 2010 Rav has all the bells and whistles. Love it! Love Rav4’s! Get one! Oh, and I do recommend CarMax, too, very good experience!
Pros
- Reliability:
- Power:
- Cargo Space:
Cons
- Fuel Economy: Won’t complain too much, though because it is a rocket fast V6 so I went in knowing that it’d be a little less than a 4-cylinder.
yes, wonderful car at a great price
Would like it to have less high-tech, it's distracting----and do not like any screens in general, (central steering indicators etc. are better, but not much right ON the steering wheel) It is very comfortable with better LEG ROOM than any other of it's kind, this is wonderful. It is easy to drive, though do not much like the eco-drive. It's SAFE, RELIABLE, DEPENDABLE, (those things are VERY important and Toyota has always been good there, we have owned three from 1989 on). It gets me though the snow. It is also one of the nicest looking cars on the road. However, the metal (?) used on the exterior is too light-weight, easily dented, etc. Stops and starts well. AND IT'S PRACTICAL!! BTW most people do not like self-driving cars-just saying.
Pros
- Reliability: Top priority.
- Seat Comfort: need leg room and the 2015 Rav 4 has it.
- Cost to Maintain: VERY important...reliability plays in this.
Cons
- Technology and Entertainment: I don't need my car to have this, I can bring it with me in the car.... too much in my face. Too expensive to repair.
- Visibility: Not too bad but could be better.
- Dashboard: Too much stuff, it makes you take your eyes off the road, or have to pull over to adjust it.
Best small SUV for the money you can buy!
I recommend the Toyota RAV4 because it's heads and tails above any other car I've owned, period. This one's amazing! I purchased this 2010 Toyota RAV-4 this past October and have been nothing but pleased with this vehicle! As the previous owner of two Honda early model CR-Vs (which I loved), I am completely blown away with the RAV4. It is better in every way (except the base stereo system) than my Hondas. More powerful 4-cylinder, incredible mileage for a 4X4 (30-31 highway mpgs...28 mixed city/hwyway). Instruments, controls, seat comfort, features, interior space...everything's better on the RAV4! See AJ @ the Midlothian, VA Carmax and he'll do right by you! Great salesman..helpful & no pressure!
Pros
- Fuel Economy:
- Reliability:
