Reviews for Toyota RAV4
Great Ride, right price! Will get you anywhere and won't cost you an arm and a leg!
My wife loves her Rav 4! Yeah, she even gave her Rav 4 a name! We had a terrible winter and she was very pleased with how it handled in the snow and ice! I personally tried getting it stuck and it did a nice job getting out of the snow! Having the capability to lock in a true 4 wheel drive feature is very nice! I would highly recommend the Rav 4 to any potential buyer even if you don't have to worry about snow or ice! It's smooth on the highway as well!
Pros
- Cargo Space: We can easily throw our mountain bikes inside and hit the trails!
- Power: We did choose the 4 liter over the V6 but I am very happy with the efficiency and power that the 4 liter has! We are averaging 24 mpg and we live in a somewhat hilly area!
Cons
- Dashboard: Although my wife is not picky, I am a little disappointed in the overall look of the dashboard specifically the color! Very small detail but hey I'm being honest!
Great Car
The performance of this car with the V6 engine and all wheel drive is excellent and inspires confidence especially when road conditions are bad. The passenger and cargo space for a smaller car is perfect for our family. It's a car that I look forward to driving, we have taken two long road trips and very impressed with it overall. The only draw back is with the V6 gas mileage is less compared to some of the new 4 cylinder small suv's but still pretty good. The best has been 31 mpg highway only and the worst has been 16 mpg just city stop and go driving hard. For me I will take the trade off, love the power and towing capacity of the V6.
Pros
- Power: Power is always there and ready to go, you don't have to wait for it to wind up to make a pass on the road.
- Ride and Handling: The handling inspires confidence.
- Cargo Space: A good amount of room without having to drive a big vehicle
Cons
- Fuel Economy: I wouldn't mind getting better mileage but it's still ok especially for the power and year of the car.
- Cabin Noise: It's a little noisy but not too bad
- Technology and Entertainment: Hard to choose any other con, I really like this car a lot. Some new tech might be nice but not really an issue for me
An All Around Great Car! Toyota RAV4
This car is a great value in a reliable and sporty small SUV. In the short period we have owned the car, we have driven it from VA to Southern FL with 3 kids in the back and survived the way! For a small SUV, it makes great use of space and has many handy storage features. It is also stylish, fun, and pretty good on fuel economy.
Pros
- Cost to Maintain: It is a sturdy and affordable car that is easy to maintain
- Interior Space: For a small SUV it has great interior space and storage options
- Ride and Handling: It is a fun, sporty drive
