2008 Toyota Land CruiserCharles Rushing - Victor, ID08/28/2016
We have had this car for almost 2 years now, so I thought this would be a good time to review it. It has been the safest, most solid feeling car that we have had. My wife uses it as her daily driver, and swears she will drive nothing else. The power is great, the interior is spacious and comfortable.
Best SUV you can buy!

Great ride, very dependable, spacious, good looks, and well maintained. CarMax checked it out thoroughly and delivered what they promised.
Great Vehicle, Terrible Mileage
1999 Toyota Land Cruiserbeardsly - Portland, Maine10/08/2008
There's a reason the Land Cruiser is the vehicle of choice in the most inhospitable places on the planet. It can cover any terrain you'll encounter. I've driven out of my unplowed driveway after 20+ inches of snow.
They very rarely break but when they do parts for the LC, like all Toyotas, can be very high.
Mine has 110K and other than tires, brakes and oil changes I have spent less than $700 for repairs in 7 years of ownership.
Ride is quiet and smooth on highways, a little bumpy on broken pavement. You sit very high with a good view of traffic. Seats are comfortable on long rides.
Mileage is terrible as you'd expect. Premium fuel is recommended although I use mid-grade with no apparent problems.
