The Toyota C-HR receives praise for its stylish design, fuel efficiency, and smooth handling, making it a good choice for urban driving. While many appreciate its reliability, comfort, and affordable maintenance, critiques include limited cargo space, modest acceleration, and cabin noise. Technology features vary across model years, with earlier models missing upgrades like Apple CarPlay.
Runs lovely
roomy and a good space in the rear for cargo
great fuel economy.
I cannot connect my android to the car. My phone attaches fine, but i would like to be able to use waze thru the dash.
Could have a little more power from 0.
the front cup holder holds wide ups but not tall and wide.
Considering it’s a Toyota, I know I’m going to get some great mileage out of it with very little maintenance.
I feel like I got a really reliable, versatile car for the price I paid for it. More spacious and stylish than a sedan style car.
Since it has a 4 cylinder, it has awesome MPG for a crossover. On long drives, it gets around 35MPG which is great for the fact that it is slightly larger. City driving still sees a respectable 28-30 MPG
The Apple CarPlay in this car is starting to show some issues. It is an earlier model, so there is still a USB A connection for the CarPlay, connectivity has some issues from my iPhone16. The screen is also a little lagging for a 2021. I’ve only had this vehicle for 3 months and have had issues with plugging the USB in the port and getting the infotainment system to respond or connect at times.
On the flip side, it being a 4 cylinder, it doesn’t have a lot of horsepower for the increase in weight you’re carrying (versus a Corolla). Though the MPG can be good on steady drives, the torque on this car leaves much to be desired. I never drive my cars really hard, but this one seems to need it from 0-45 MPH.
Requires a lot of flipping through menus while driving to get other types of information or switch between Eco, Normal, or Sport modes
it's a Toyota!
Very sporty and active looking.
Not quick or powerful at all.
I would expect a little better gas mileage.
i don't like the infotainment. The car play I had no idea you had to tether the phone for it to work. I assumed bluetooth was it. no instructions anywhere described this.
