About Mitsubishi Vehicles
Vehicle Summary
Although Mitsubishi has been established as a company since 1870, it actually wasn't until 1917 that the brand began making automobiles. Prior to that, Mitsubishi was mostly known for its involvement in the shipping, coal mining, and military aircraft manufacturing. Today, Mitsubishi Motors offers a wide range of cars, hatchbacks, crossovers, SUVs, and electric vehicles.
One of the better known Mitsubishi vehicles is the Mirage, a compact hatchback that is currently in its sixth generation of production (2012-present). The 2018 Mirage offers seating for five passengers and comes standard with a 1.2L three-cylinder engine at 78 hp, in addition to base equipment such as a rear spoiler, seven-inch touchscreen interface, and rearview camera. Fuel economy is a major draw for the Mirage; its 2018 base trim with 1.2L engine and automatic transmission gets an EPA-estimated 39 mpg combined.1
The Outlander crossover SUV is another popular Mitsubishi model, especially for larger families. This crossover features standard three-row seating for up to seven passengers, as well as optional all-wheel drive. On the 2017 model, a 2.4L four-cylinder engine is standard, as is automatic dual-zone climate control, a 6.1-inch touchscreen display, and rear privacy glass.
The innovative i-MiEV is Mitsubishi's fully electric car, a four-door hatchback that can seat up to four people. Standard equipment on the 2017 i-MiEV includes a quick-charging port, full power accessories, heated front seats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. It is powered by a 49-kW electric motor and 16 kWh lithium-ion battery for 66 hp that gets an EPA-estimated 112 MPGe combined.2
This is just a sampling of the many vehicles Mitsubishi has to offer. Which best suits you?

Reviews for Mitsubishi
Great Car
I recommend this car to any body who is looking for a 2 door car because i get many compliments about my car, looks really sporty if you put a spoiler on it, fast, smooth, and its and eye catcher.
Pros
- Fuel Economy: 20 bucks fills it up
- Reliability: last a long time like a Honda
Cons
- Technology and Entertainment: i wish it was push button to start (thats only thing rest is awsome)
Not as roomy as expected
The car is 7 seater but the back row is not adjustable so there is limited leg room, my 4 year old can hardly sit in the 3rd row so it’s almost useless. I recommend actually getting in the back or having someone sit in the back bedorw purchasing. I just looked in the back instead of testing it out, big mistake! Also the one I purchased has issues already with the rubber trim coming apart just after going through a car wash one time and a/c already blowing out warm air after just 4months.
Pros
- Value: Affordable
- Seat Comfort: Heating seats that are pretty comfortable
Cons
- Cargo Space: Limited cargo space when using the 3rd row
- Interior Space: Can only fit children under 3 in the back row due to leg space.
Great car.
I upgraded to a 2020 Outlander from a 2015 Rogue, the ride quality, interior noise, features pretty much every aspect of this car is a 100% upgrade compared to the Rogue.
Pros
- Cabin Noise: Quiet you don’t hear any road or wind noise
- Ride and Handling: Take bumps and corners great
- Value: If you were looking at a Rogue, Cr-v RAV4 this is a much better option.
Cons
- Cargo Space: With all three rows up the trunk space is limited also no spare tires
- Technology and Entertainment: I wish it displayed more vehicle information in the gauge cluster and infotainment system seems a little dated and after market
