About Porsche Vehicles
Vehicle Summary
With beginnings in 1931, Porsche specializes in high-performance luxury sports cars, sedans, and SUVs. Many people don't realize that the full company name is actually Dr.-Ing h.c. F. Porsche AG, which stands for the original founder's last name and honorary title of Doctor of Engineering. This German-based company produces a wide range of vehicles, including the popular 911 sports car, the spacious Cayenne SUV, and the full-size Panamera sedan.
The 911 is a classic Porsche that has been in production since 1963, with its most recent generation spanning 2012-present. The 2017 911 is a luxury sports car that is for sale in both coupe and convertible styles, with standard features including a 3.0L twin-turbo engine at 370 hp and rear-wheel drive.
Those who need more space without sacrificing power can explore the Porsche Cayenne, a midsize SUV with seating for up to five passengers. The 2018 Cayenne boasts a standard 3.6L V6 engine at a whopping 300 hp, in addition to automatic dual-zone climate control, partial leather upholstery, a built-in navigation system, and a premium 10-speaker audio system. Meanwhile, the 2018 Cayenne also offers up to 63 cubic feet of storage space.
A hybrid version of the Cayenne is also available for sale; the 2018 model is powered by a supercharged 3.0L V6 and electric motor at 416 hp way and gets an EPA-estimated 22 mpg combined.1
From speedy and robust sports cars to fuel-sipping hybrids, Porsche brings a luxury driving experience to a wide range of vehicles.
1Fuel economy figures are based on EPA estimates for when vehicle sold as new. Fuel economy may vary for reasons like driving conditions and vehicle history. Unless specified, figures are for vehicles equipped with an automatic transmission. See fueleconomy.gov.

- Cost to Maintain:
- Interior Space:
- Visibility:
If you want to drive a REAL sports car this is it
If you want to drive a real sports car this is it. Skip the ultimate driving machine BMW (that's a joke), and climb into one of these with a 7 speed manual transmission. Don't go the grandma way with an automatic. This car is incredible to drive. Do yourself a favor and get one now. You will be without words to describe how it feels to drive one.
Pros
- Braking: stops on a dime
- Cabin Noise: low
- Dashboard: Beautiful. Tach in center where it should be!!!!
Panamera GTS - Exhilarating!!!
This is the most exciting vehicle I’ve ever owned. While it doesn’t have the interior updates of today’s modern vehicles, the exterior is still striking and the performance is outstanding. It’s a Porsche, enough said!!!
Pros
- Styling:
- Power:
- Ride and Handling:
Cons
- Technology and Entertainment: No touch screens but still good tech available
