Best interior for the price and 32.2 mpg on multiple hour drives with Adaptive Cruise Control set at 65 mph....with AWD! I can't say enough how nice it is to drive this can I bought used used XTS Vsport Platinum with 40,000+ miles on it. Not only does it drive nice but it turns heads at every corner.
Terrible blind spots created both from the pillar on the passenger side. Have almost hit a person twice, because the width of the pillar is so wide that you can't see. Also, because of the height of the seat it is difficult to see when backing up. Do not become reliant on the rear camera! I will get rid of this car as soon as I can.
I love my ELR!
2014 Cadillac ELRAnita Grant - White Plains, MD04/07/2017
I love this car! However, I can understand why it did not sell because its appeal would be to a very small demographic. I am environmentally conscious and I predicted gas prices would rise again, so I knew this car would be a good investment. It is classy, plush, and surprisingly sporty - good acceleration especially for an electric car. It turns many heads because it is elegant, but subtle. Fits me to a T! Yes, the back seat is small and it is hard to maneuver your body into the seat, but my 511 teenager can get back there and be comfortable. It is usually just me in the car, though. The Bose sound system is amazing, the dashboard gauges are futuristic and easy to read, and I love the Cadillac Cue (I know that not everybody does).
They’re big. They’re bold. They’re kinda in your face. Tall pickup trucks and SUVs have the kind of ride height that gets you over, through, and around the kind of rough terrain which stops other vehicles in their tracks. If you live in a place with lots of snow, mud, or uneven ground, ride height (defined as the distance between the bottom of your truck’s tires and the lowest point on the underside) is probably more important to you than road-hugging and handling characteristics and strong fuel efficiency.
