This car is perfect for me. It gets great gas mileage. It's really fun to drive! It has everything I want, Bluetooth, sunroof, heated seats. And I love the design, clean and sharp, no unnecessary details, and has a lot more room than I expected in a 2 door hatchback.
Fantastic value for a used vehicle
2010 Volkswagen PassatEleanor - Fort Lauderdale, FL08/03/2014
First VW I have ever owned and love it so far! The 4-cylinder Turbo has great responsiveness (all my prior vehicles were 6-cylinder). The interior has a ton of great features - touch screen console, multi-control drivers seat with lumbar support, wheel controls, etc. The two-ton interior is like-new with great brushed metal accents. And the exterior body lines, pearlized black paint and chrome trim are gorgeous - definitely a professional-looking sedan.
On the negative side, there is no automatic setting for the lights. For someone who got used to that feature, it is a bad habit to break. And although the bluetooth syncs up with my iPhone for calls/Siri, music can only be played with the in-dash connector (which is a 30-pin) of aux.
Fun / economical. In S mode - 1.8 Turbo really provides a kick. When it spools up it really feels like it has another 30-40 hp. VW dealer was great recently, and did a software update and it now shifts smoother than ever. Lots of backseat room and trunk room, easy to drive and park and lots more engaged driving experience compared to a civic sedan.
