2023 Volkswagen ID.4 EV
Second EV purchased; different brand
PROS
Seat Comfort
Despite being a bit longer and riding taller than my previous EV, the ID.4 rides better, absorbing bumps and dips better.
Cargo Space
The ID.4 is more spacious than my previous EV, despite being similar size and in the same class. Recently, having been gifted items for our soon-to-be born baby, the ID.4 was able to carry so many items and still have room for more.
CONS
Technology and Entertainment
I understand the concept of minimizing buttons and switching to haptics on the steering wheel, but to switch to haptics on the HVAC and side buttons for mirror and doors wasn't the best idea. Yes, I've got used to the haptics, but still would mistakenly turn on or off headlights when all I wanted to do was adjust the driver's side vents.
Fuel Economy
It's not much of a con, but having less range than my previous EV was something to live with this car.
