Fun to drive!

I had a 2012 Beetle for 11 years. it was fun to drive so I just decided to get a newer one that was a convertible!

Pros

  • Ride and Handling
  • Interior Space
  • Styling

Such a dope car!

I love that freaking car. It was in so good condition, it looked brand new. Drives that way, too. Really good price for my necessary specs with some extra nice ones I could have done without.

Pros

  • Ride and Handling: It's a stick shift with a turbo booster, so if you know, you know! Another dope thing is this cool feature I never knew existed. If you know how to drive a stick shift, you know you gotta be quick when taking off from a stoplight on a hill. Well my car, when I'm on a hill and I first come off the brake, the car doesn't roll back immediately. It stays suspended on the hill for about two or three seconds to give me time to do my gas+clutch combo and take off!
  • Technology and Entertainment: I thought it had a cd player. Nope. 6 disc cd CHANGER. Of course I barely use that because of the bluetooth capability. I use Amazon music from my phone.
  • Styling: Pretty easy on the eyes.

Cons

  • Braking: With mine being a stick shift, the brakes aren't the same as they would be on an automatic transmission car. Might be dangerous for new drivers in the rain or other unfavorable road conditions. My first accident happened for that very reason with my first car at 16.
  • Seat Comfort: I have to sit a little closer to the dashboard than I would in an automatic transmission to make sure my left foot can push the clutch all the way to the floor but I knew what I was signing up for when I wanted a stick shift.
  • Ride and Handling: If you're stuff in traffic a lot, any stick shift is NOT the car for you. I HATE driving it in traffic with the constant shifting. Luckily for me, for my lifestyle it's not a big issue.

It's a convertible!

It is comfortable, the options and buttons are easy to figure out and it's a convertible! What's not to love!

Pros

  • Interior Space: Comfortable and easy to use the controls.

Cons

  • Cargo Space: The convertible mechanism takes up a lot of room in the trunk.
