This has been excellent vehicle to own. It's well equipped and very comfortable, and is fun to drive. It's very full efficient and has plenty of passing power and acceleration. I drive on average of 40 miles a day between work and home, and majority of my driving is on the highway. I have seen my gas mileage get better than the estimated 37 MPG on highway. It has a very good build quality and fit and finish.
Pros - extremely reliable and enjoyable driving experience - both with feedback the car gives and its performance. Also good compact design, so good visibility while driving and easy to park in challenging situations.
Cons - would NOT suit a very tall person - I'm 5' 8'' so not a problem at all.
First Class Sedan with Great Fuel Mileage!

When I purchased this car, I made my decision based mostly on the turbo diesel specification, and interior/cargo space. The ride comfort, sound system and interior controls were just an added bonus. After the first week of owning this car, I got a couple of fault codes which resulted in the replacement of a new turbo. Turbo replacement is common, and the folks at Volkswagen have me covered for free for 5 years/60,000 miles. Even during the fault codes, this car never left me stranded. I am a mechanic as well, so even if my vehicle would have been out-of-warranty, I would have replaced the parts myself and kept the vehicle.
On a full tank of fuel, I can easily drive 800 miles with about 30-40 miles to spare before filling up!
