So frustrated with especially poor MPG that i can't think of a pro.
Car only gets 35 to 39 highway mileage. Had it checked at dealership and their comment, "what's wrong with that?" Stated they checked car nothing wrong with it and if I had further issues call Toyota. I called Toyota. They said they would look into it. An hour later I got a call from the same dealership to bring the car in for another check. They again said nothing wrong with the car, that it was perfect. They said they put in on a computer and it states that the car is getting 40 to 41 mpg highway.? First, I drive it on the highway, not a company on flat ground. 2nd, 40 to 41 is still a long ways from the 47 that it is supposed to be getting. I'd be happy with anything in the lower 40's. Toyota WILL NOT answer my one simple question. Is 39 mg what this car is actually supposed to be getting or is there something wrong with the car. Just for comparison, my previous 2 cars were Ford Fusion Hybrids. basin same size cars, both hybrids. They were rated approx. 42 mpg highway and they both got that and at times hit 50mpg. So driving habits and conditions are the same only cars are different.
No fuel milage summary. Like mpg, It claims to have one, but doesn't. Where the fuel summary is supposed to be, every other message will over ride it. So. I take a 700 mile drive and man, with the poor mileage it get's I really want to see that summary. So I make sure all doors and trunk are closed, all windows are up and turn off ignition. I get "Check back seat" where the fuel summary is suppose to be. First the car knows that there is nobody in the backseat, it gives seatbelt warnings for anybody that would be. 2nd if Toyota was really concerned about checking the back seat they wouldn't hide it behind the steering wheel where the only people looking there are the ones trying to see there fuel summary. They would put it up on the center large screen daaa. 3rd it needs a fuel summary period.
incredible milage - I fill up my tank maybe twice a month.
very reliable
the seating is a bit snug and short so not good for taller people
