Transmission: Automatic Color:Blue Interior Color: Gray Average Vehicle Review: (4.308 reviews) This is one of the true remaining SUVs out there. The body-on-frame chassis allows for the truck like ride. If you're looking for the crossover/car-like ride, this is not your beast. This is for driving to work during the week and getting dirty on the weekends; or both. The redesigned grill gives the SR5 a sinister look that turns quite a few heads. Rugged lines stay true to the previous 4 generations, keeping the original 4Runner look there. The power back window is still one of the coolest concepts and separates the 4Runner from it's competitors. The interior is spacious. I recently drove across country and back and did not feel cramped in any way. My only gripe with the entire truck is the touch screen entertainment/navigation.

Transmission: Automatic Color:Gray Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.308 reviews) The 4Runner is an incredibly reliable car, comfortable ride and it will last a long time. I bought this car because I needed something bigger to tow my boat and it tows my 19' powerboat with no problems at all. It has a 5,000lb tow capacity and I'm well below that so no worries. It's a great car, the limited edition has more technology than some newer models. These things hold their value and you will own it for years. Great purchase.

Transmission: Automatic Color:White Interior Color: Gray Average Vehicle Review: (5 reviews) This SUV is so much fun to drive! I love the big engine sound when it starts and you sit up high and have good visibility. It does handle like a truck but that's exactly what I like about it. It is not boring! Sometimes I just like to drive without having anywhere to go because it is so nice to drive. This is my third SUV and first 4 runner and while I liked my other SUVs I never enjoyed driving like I do now. I am a 55 year old housewife and my husband would have let me buy whatever I wanted but this was the one for me.

Transmission: Automatic Color:White Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (5 reviews) Bought this during the summer to travel from California to North Dakota. The 4 Runner performed admirably. Roomy enough with the 3rd row seat and with cargo box on the roof rack we carried a lot of gear easily. We decided on the Toyota after considering the Infiniti QX60. The price was right and given Toyota's dependability history we knew we made the right call

Great for large animals. How would have recommended Toyota 4runner for anybody who wants a sport utility vehicle for driving in the snow going off Roe calling large loads and transporting large animals.

Transmission: Automatic Color:Gray Interior Color: Gray Average Vehicle Review: (5 reviews) Previously I had a 2005 4Runner with a V8 engine and I haul a large utility trailer. This 2015 model year only has a V6, so I was concerned about trailer-pulling capability. But, no problem. They managed to get as much horse power out of the V6 as the V8 had. Mine is also a 4-wheel drive and is great for off-roading. On the regular roads and highways, it drives great and smooth. I love this 4Runner.

Reviews for Toyota 4Runner

Overall Rating

4.7 out of 5(314 reviews)

Very nice off road/on road SUV

If you are looking for medium size Sport SUV that capable to bring you to the camping, fishing, hunting, skiing and other sport activities, you probably won't find anything better than 4Runner. I like that this year model has much better interior ergonomic. I could not fit in front seat of 4Runner of 2001. Now I fill very comfortable in this SUV. Cargo space is much bigger than I expected. I had Dodge Durango before this SUV and it is bigger than 4Runner. But when I packed for my vacation trip to the other state, I was pleased with size of the cargo space. It handling is pretty good and I did several long trips on 4Runner. Great SUV. I don't have any complains

4 out of 5 stars, above decent.

Bought this for my wife. Interior of the limited editions is very nice. We have the 4 wheel drive version with hydraulic shocks, considering it is a 4 wheel drive, the ride is extremely smooth. However, the steering is completely numb and somewhat floaty. The engine seems somewhat underpowered for the vehicle, but the 4 cylinder version is horrendous. All and all we're pretty satisfied with the vehicle. Gas mileage could be better. We get between 20 and 22 highway, have gotten 23 drafting an 18 wheeler. Don't drive much in the city but i guess it would be around 16-17. The "Eco" mode/indicator is really pointless.

Another Great 4Runner

Solid, well built, easy to drive, comfortable. I owned a 2002 4Runner and loved it but gave it to my daughter when she graduated from school and replaced it with a 2008 model for me. I didn't think I would like the newer version as much but I was wrong - it's terrific in almost every way.
