Customer Review Summary for Toyota Highlander Hybrid
2007 Toyota Highlander HybridTim - Raleigh, NC06/17/2010
This car is an "07 model. It's averaging 29-30 mpg consistently. It has surprising passing and merge power. Seats are very comfortable and the ride is very firm and stable. It had only 21,000 miles when purchased; I could not be more pleased.
Poor gas mileage
2006 Toyota Highlander Hybridmanit - Irvine, CA05/05/2010
I'm disappointed in its low gas mileage.
It logged in about 23 miles per gallon on the average.
I thought it would be more than that; I'm not sure the new 2010 model would fare better...
Love the 2008 Highlander Hybrid
2008 Toyota Highlander HybridHappy owner - Laurel, MD02/05/2008
We replaced a Ford Explorer with the new Highlander Hybrid - we wanted something with similar space, with a better ride and that got better gas mileage.
Overall, we are very pleased with this vehicle. The front and back seats have a lot of space. Love the instrumentation that shows when you are using gas vs battery. The keyless proximity entry is great, keys can remain in your purse or pocket. We have been a little disappointed with the gas mileage but it is better than what we were getting. We seem to average about 24 mpg. We got 25 driving the highway to Florida and 23 on the way back and almost 30mpg while on the island. Oh, and the ride is fantastic and it has very good acceleration.
