2010 Toyota HighlanderScott Broam - Lexington, SC09/02/2016
This is a great vehicle that suits our needs well. The 4 cylinder coupled with the 6 speed transmission has been peppy, fairly frugal, roomy, yet capable of towing. We're getting an average of 22-24 which is good, but we have yet to see 27 mpg EPA hwy rating. This one has the tow prep package (rated to 3,500#) - we haven't pulled that, but with a load of 6 passengers + trailer (about 1,000#) it handled a long steep grade into the NC mountains acceptably. Note that the 2nd seat in the middle row is not for a full sized person and when you have the 3rd seat up, there is very little storage - but, 6 adults can be comfortable - 4 with ample storage. It's not a minivan (we have one) but can step up to people hauler duty. Sturdy roof rack.
Best car I've ever owned
2002 Toyota Highlanderlandscaper - Charlottesville , Va06/13/2011
The 2002 Highlander I purchased in April of 2011 is without a doubt the best vehicle I've ever owned. It's a Limited edition and is fully loaded. Very well kept and I've had people tell me that they can't believe it's a 2002 with 80,000 miles. They all say it looks brand new. It was a great deal! I also have a small pick up truck that I use to drive to work. It's really hard not to jump in the Highlander every morning because it's so much fun to drive.
I leased this car for 3 years, then purchased ita
2013 Toyota HighlanderJune Yantis - Lake Geneva, WI08/14/2016
It is so solid and comfortable. I formerly owned 3 Buick Rendezvous. I would probably still own them but they quit making them. Dumb!! There is just enough room to haul stuff for the food pantry etc . Also it is great in winter. I live in a hilly area and it works fine
