Been reading and studying cars for a year and the clear winner based on all aspects of the driving experience was the VW GTI. So far, so great! Fun to drive, handles like a dream, accelerates with ease, and has very comfortable seats. Mine is the two-door model. Plenty of room in the front and the back with very good visabilty for the driver. Really like the way the seats are able to move up and down like a barbers chair so easily. I use to hate my commute, now I look forward to the drive to and from work. Love my hot hatch!"

2011 VW GTI

The GTI has years and years of 'hot hatch' pedigree. They are simply amazing cars to drive. So much power, and so cool in styling. We get asked all the time what the car is, and if its "fun" - the answer is yes for sure. On top of that, being a hatch back, its ridiculously practical... We used it to move half the furniture in our house when we moved recently, with the back seats down, this thing stores as much stuff as a small truck would.

My GTI

"How do I love thee? Let me count the ways..." This is my first VW purchase, and I am extremely happy with my GTI! I had my eyes on one for quite a while, but was hesitant to pull the trigger given that it's slightly more expensive than comparable hatchbacks. However, it was definitely a great buy, since it has great European styling and attention to detail, while still being a super fun car to drive. My car has the DSG and all the other options, and I haven't regretted the purchase for a second. Overall it fits the bill for exactly what I wanted in a car: small, fun, and useful. One of my only beefs with the car is the bluetooth connectivity, which can be spotty and not great audio quality. Other than that, it's a car I would highly recommend! :)

I love this car!

This car is great for someone like me who loves a small 4-door hatch but also likes having fun. This car really gets up and goes when you step on the gas and it's so much fun to jump on the highway and go for a ride. Although it's not the best on gas it's not bad. I get a lot of miles out of my tank and it's usually a good time. Even though the car is small you can actually fit quite a lot of stuff in the back end with the seats down. I moved clear across the country and fit the majority of my small stuff in this car. It has been an awesome journey since I've had this awesome car. Even though it did have one trip to the mechanic and cost quite a bit for the repair, it runs like new even after almost 80,000 miles.
