Reviews for 2013 Volkswagen Jetta
1st. German car
I am not too familiar with German cars, I noticed this car takes a long time (more than 15 min) for the A/C to get cold. Then it does blows cold. In Miami, this is critical. My other vehicles don't do that. No matter how hot is outside. It spends a lot of gas for a compact vehicle. We just have it for a short time, My daughter drives it, I need to get organized to take it to the dealers for a check up or some orientation. But I am not as happy as I was when I bought any of my others cars
Pros
- Safety: My friend had an accident and the car protected her
- Seat Comfort: Very comfy. Seat heater
- Interior Space: Spacious. Blue tooth is nice also
Cons
- Fuel Economy: Gas goes quickly
Volkswagen Jetta TDI - You will enjoy the car
The TDI is one of the top MPG engines on the market. The Jetta has classy style and the premium package (what I have) adds a bonus to your enjoyment. Here in CA regular unleaded is about 3.99 @ gal. I'm spending $1. dollar less to fill up with diesel. Going on trips, 45 mpg or better depending on how heavy footed you are. This equates to value.
Pros
- Fuel Economy:
- Safety:
- Value:
Love my car!
My car is a pleasure to drive. I love the 40+ mpg that my car gets and I am very pleased with how much power it has on acceleration. The seats are comfortable for long drives and all of the driver controls are placed in well thought out location; I do not have to reach for anything. The panoramic sunroof is a lot of fun to have open on a warm evening when I am driving at the beach or in the mountains. The covered compartments in the cargo area hold a good amount of gear and it says out of site. With the two back seats down flat both of my english mastiffs fit just fine and they have room to lay down. Four adult fit comfortably in my car with plenty of cargo room for all of our stuff.
Pros
- Fuel Economy: My work commute is 90 miles each way and the 40+ mpg helps to keep me on the road and away from the fuel pump.
- Cargo Space: I easily fit a 6' long piece of furniture into my car and was able to close the door.
- Value: I think this car is a great value overall. So much so that I own 2 of them. A 2009 and the 2013. My review stand for both cars.
