2020 Volvo XC40
first Volvo
Pros

Fuel Economy

This car is getting over 29mpg.

Dashboard

very cool dashboard and electronics in this vehicle

Power

This car has plenty of power and can easily pass slower vehicles on the road.
Cons

Cargo Space

my only fault and it’s a small thing is that I wish it had a little more cargo space, but it’s really not a bad thing. it’s hard to knock this car.

2020 Volvo XC40
Fun to drive
Pros

Cargo Space

I like the auto tailgate lift with just a wave of your foot. I also appreciate that thought was put into the height of the tailgate when opened and that it is adjustable (thanks to hints from user forum)

Cabin Noise

Cell phone calls are clear.

Fuel Economy

I was a little concerned in that the car recommends premium gas and with AWD it wouldn't be as efficient as my 2005 Ford Focus. Not to worry - about same MPG but a little more expensive when filling up.

2020 Volvo XC40
First Experience/Car Max and Volvo
Pros

Fuel Economy

Still has the power in traffic, merging, passing, etc. but gets good great gas mileage

Dashboard

Equipped with lots of bells and whistles..

Cargo Space

XC 40 is still roomy enough in front seats as well as back seats. Cargo space is plenty big for several pieces of luggage.
Cons

Cost to Maintain

I have already had to replace right strut within the first week of driving. Car Max was very helpful in resolving the issue promptly.
