1. Standard all-wheel drive
New for the 2023 model year, all Jeep Renegade trims have standard all-wheel drive. The Jeep Active Drive system seamlessly changes from front-wheel drive to all-wheel drive, disconnecting the rear axle in scenarios when you don't need it, to improve fuel economy. The 2023 Renegade's Selec-Terrain® traction management system offers five additional driving modes to suit the prevailing surface conditions of the road surface, so whether you're taking the kids to school or venturing off-road, you'll have enough traction to keep you moving.
2. Specialized off-road trim
If you sometimes need to tackle slightly rougher terrains, you should choose the 2023 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk. This trim has been fully tuned to venture off-road with raised suspension as well as Jeep's Active Drive Low system featuring hill descent control. This adds extra control over braking, speed, and throttle for smoother passage down steep terrain.
3. Easy-to-use technology
The 2023 Jeep Renegade has plenty of onboard technology that's easy to use. All trims have an 8.4-inch Uconnect® 4C NAV touchscreen display system with GPS navigation, HD radio, wireless connectivity, and Apple CarPlay® and AndroidAuto™ compatibility, as well as SiriusXM® Radio, SiriusXM Traffic Plus, and SiriusXM Travel Link functionality. 4. Feature-packed style
The 2023 Jeep Renegade comes in six fully featured trims: Latitude, Upland, Altitude, Trailhawk, (RED) Edition, and Limited. All models have a decent level of standard equipment. Even the entry-level Latitude trim has cruise control, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, and a voice command system. If you want additional style, the Upland and Altitude special editions have distinctive looks thanks to their gloss black exterior details and unique interior features. The (RED) Edition turns even more heads with 19-inch alloy wheels, red badging, LED ambient interior lighting, and Ruby Red contrast stitching.
5. Quiet 177-hp engine
The 2023 Jeep Renegade is agile for a compact SUV and handles well. Even with its upright stance and boxy appearance, there is little body roll through corners. Quick and nicely weighted steering makes parking at the gym or at the grocery store easy. There is also very little noise from either the 177 hp 1.3L inline-four gasoline engine or the nine-speed automatic transmission, making for a peaceful drive.
