5 reasons to buy the 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLA250
1. Powerful engine
A 208-hp turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder gasoline engine with direct injection sits under the hood of the 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLA250. With 258 lb-ft of torque, it is a strong performer and gets the compact Mercedes sedan to 60 mph from rest in 6.9 seconds. A seven-speed, dual-clutch automatic gearbox is standard, with a manual shift operated by steering wheel paddles if you want more control. If engaged, an automatic stop-start function turns the CLA's engine off to save fuel when at a halt, making the engine also perform when it comes to economy. On the highway, the two-wheel drive model has an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 37 mpg with the 2.0L engine.
2. FWD or AWD
The 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLA250 comes with front-wheel drive as standard. For additional traction in more challenging driving scenarios – such as adverse weather conditions – Mercedes-Benz's 4MATIC® all-wheel drive system is an available option. Its torque-sensing function sends power to the wheels that need it most to give you added reassurance.
3. Luxurious features
Compared to the 2014 model year, the 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLA250 has many new features as standard making sure it lives up to its compact luxury car billing. Dual-zone automatic climate control allows you and your passenger to select individual temperature settings, and keyless start lets you fire up the engine by tapping a button on the dashboard, with no need to use the car's smart key. As part of the Premium Package – or as an individual option – an available keyless go function allows the CLA250 to be unlocked and locked just by touching the door handles. A seven-inch color central touchscreen puts the onboard entertainment options at your fingertips, while the 12-way adjustable powered driver's seat – with four-way power lumbar support – offers plenty of options for you to find a comfortable driving position.
4. High-grade interior
Even though the 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLA250 is the smallest sedan the company makes, you wouldn't know it from the inside. The same clean and elegant interior design is shared with larger Mercedes-Benz cars, and high-grade materials, fittings, and textures give a premium impression. A wealth of available packages with aluminum, carbon fiber, and wood finishes give you scope to find the CLA to suit your taste.
5. A dynamic drive
If you want to have fun on your commute, your trips to the grocery store, or even on the school run, the 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLA250 can show you a good time. Whether you're in the city or out on the open road, it has stable handling, plenty of grip, and sharp, responsive steering making for a dynamic drive. For 2015, the CLA250's previously standard sport suspension is relegated to the available options list, but that doesn't matter as the more comfort-oriented set-up gives your passengers a smoother ride.
