1. Powerful engine

A 208-hp turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder gasoline engine with direct injection sits under the hood of the 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLA250. With 258 lb-ft of torque, it is a strong performer and gets the compact Mercedes sedan to 60 mph from rest in 6.9 seconds. A seven-speed, dual-clutch automatic gearbox is standard, with a manual shift operated by steering wheel paddles if you want more control. If engaged, an automatic stop-start function turns the CLA's engine off to save fuel when at a halt, making the engine also perform when it comes to economy. On the highway, the two-wheel drive model has an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 37 mpg with the 2.0L engine.
