2022 Nissan Rogue Sport review

1. Standard tech features 

Advanced technology is standard with the 2022 Rogue Sport. Even on the base S trim, you'll get a seven-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay^® and Android Auto^™ integration, voice command recognition, Bluetooth^® hands-free calling, and a hands-free text message assistant. The four-speaker audio system can play your favorite artists or music genre from several different sources as standard, including via an auxiliary jack, dual USB ports, CD player, wireless streaming, and AM/FM radio. 

2. Practical powertrain  

Look no further than the 2022 Rogue Sport for powertrain practicality and agility. Each 2022 model features a 141-hp, 2.0L four-cylinder engine paired with a smooth continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) and front-wheel drive. This setup offers you the chance to enjoy the freedom of the open road for longer, thanks to an EPA-estimated 28 mpg combined.

For additional agility in challenging conditions, 2022 models can be found with available AWD, which still gets a respectable EPA-estimated 27 mpg combined. 

3. Cargo space 

For regular errands that require generous cargo space, the 2022 Rogue Sport S trim has 22.9 cu-ft of cargo cubes behind the second row, or up to 20.0 cu-ft on the SV and SL trims. For pet crates and hauling boxes, you can expand that up to 61.1 cu-ft of space on the S trim model, by flipping the 60/40-split second-row seats down. The 2022 Rogue Sport SV and SL models also have Nissan’s Divide-N-Hide^® cargo system, allowing you to raise or lower the cargo floor, and separate different loads. 

4. Advanced driver aids 

Enhancing your driving awareness is the 2022 Rogue Sport's long list of standard driver aids. If your regular routes include multi-lane highways, you’ll appreciate the Rogue Sport’s blind spot warning system and cruise control. At a workplace garage or grocery store lot, use the rear cross-traffic alert feature and rearview camera to aid parking maneuvers. The intelligent trace control features support stability when cornering, while the automatic high beam function will adjust your headlights for oncoming traffic. 

5. Great passenger environment 

The 2022 Rogue Sport has ample space for your passengers to relax. Comfortable front-row bucket seats offer 42.8 inches of legroom, while the rear row has 33.4 inches. Two full sets of LATCH fixtures in the second-row outboard seats can accommodate youngsters who require child or infant car seats. Tall windows offer great visibility, while the available power sliding glass moonroof, part of the Premium package, floods the cabin with light.
