Easy to drive and park
If you are looking for something compact and parkable with a decent cargo area, the 2018 Toyota Corolla iM is a great place to start your search. Its compact size and long list of standard features make it an excellent choice for a city car because it will provide some decent creature comforts while fitting into tight spaces. Even though the interior is mono-spec, it has a premium feel to it, as well as comfortable cloth seats, which are great for longer drives. Add that to the rear hatch that provides a wide opening for cargo and the rear-folding seats give you the ability to carry people or stuff, and you have a vehicle that can flex.

5 reasons to buy the 2018 Toyota Corolla iM
1. Decent cargo space
If you need more space than a traditional trunk and like the ability to load things up to the roof but still need a compact footprint, the 2018 Toyota Corolla iM is a nice option. With the rear seats up, the hatchback has 20.8 cu-ft of cargo volume, which is larger than most compact sedans. If you need more space, you can drop the rear seats completely or take advantage of the 60/40 split-fold seats to hold a rear seat passenger or two as well as cargo.
2. Buy less gas
Though the 2018 Toyota Corolla iM's 1.8L four-cylinder engine only delivers 137 horsepower, the trade-off is more time between fuel-ups. The iM gets an EPA-estimated 30 mpg or 31 mpg in combined driving, depending on whether you opt for the manual or automatic transmission, respectively.
What's more, if you do a lot of highway driving, EPA estimates you'll see 35+ mpg on both vehicles.3. A lot of standard features
The 2018 Toyota Corolla iM is an entry-level hatch, but it has a high level of standard amenities you might not expect. You'll see things like an acoustic layer windshield help keep the cabin quieter, and heated power-folding side mirrors are an added benefit on cold winter mornings. Other standard features include auto on/off lights, automatic high beams, dual automatic climate control, leather-wrapped steering wheel, tilt/telescoping steering wheel, and cruise control.
4. Fit in tight spaces
The 2018 Toyota Corolla iM is just 170.5 inches long, which is shorter than a lot of compact sedans. This, along with a good turning radius, makes it easy to parallel park on city streets, but it will also fit well in compact parking lots and garages. As a bonus, there is a standard rearview camera, which is great if you like to back into your parking spaces.
5. Go on long drives
Whether you have a long commute or you take regular road trips, you'll appreciate that the 2018 Toyota Corolla has comfy seats. And if you need tunes or podcasts to keep you entertained, you'll be able to stream audio from your phone via Bluetooth® or wired-in connection. Add that to the flexible cargo space and fuel-sipping powertrain, and all you have to do is get in and go.
