Power
This is a hybrid car, so don't expect it to respond like a race car. Easy does it just right.
Seat Comfort
seats can be and should be improved for a more comfortable ride.
Braking
Brakes can feel like they are wet, when depressed harshly in an attempt to stop the car in a short distance.
Dashboard
The car's computer will tell you when you need to take it in for factory-scheduled maintenance, when the tire pressure needs to be checked, and more, via the dashboard info screen. Very useful.
Fuel Economy
The car automatically cuts off the gas engine at stops, and the Econ feature (which can be turned on and off) enforces smoother acceleration, both of which make for more efficient fuel consumption. The fuel-usage gauge makes it easy to learn how to drive to increase fuel efficiency even further.
Cost to Maintain
I put 8,000 miles on this car in three months. When I took it into a non-dealership garage for factory-scheduled maintenance, the mechanic consulted the manufacturer's maintenance schedule, and said that it needed very few services compared to other vehicles. The visit cost less than $200.
Seat Comfort
The front headrests are extremely uncomfortable- they're angled forward strangely, such that they force your head forward. I had to turn the driver's side headrest around backwards in order to tolerate it. If you plan to use this car for long drives, look into aftermarket replacements.
