the gas engine probably only seems loud because the car is so quite on EV. still the sound can be jarring.

Fuel Economy
For local trip less than 48 miles, I have option to keep it all Electric mode. This is how I can average 80+ miles per gallon so far.
Interior Space
For long travel comfort, none of the PHEV out there can beat Honda Clarity space. I do not wish to get stuck behind the wheel of a sardine can Prius Prime for 800 miles drive.

Awesome seat for long travel, have to try it to believe how great it is. Kudos to Honda team!
Cons
Cabin Noise
When the internal combustion engine is on charging the engine, the 'lawn mower' like coarse engine sound is louder than I like. Surely Honda can do better job than this.

Minor complaint on rear view camera do NOT have cross traffic alert built in

A little bit more power for acceleration (just one second faster 0-60 please).
