Pros

• Fuel Economy

  On the heels of driving Dodge Caravans for the first decade plus of driving, the city/highway average I get from the CR-V is twice as nice. Less money at the pump, plus the heads up display helps keep me on top of maintaining a great fuel economy.

• Cargo Space

  I am a drummer and the primary reason I use my car, on top of getting me from A to B, is hauling all my gear. With both rear seats down, I’m more than capable of transporting all of my gear with ease. The back floor plate is adjustable so I can have it even with the bottom of the trunk, or sunk down a bit to prevent sliding. Truly top notch.

• Ride and Handling

  This vehicle is smooth to drive and steer. Braking is seamless and it handles well in rain despite not being AWD.

• Seat Comfort

  While it is very comfortable for short drives, I’ve noticed on multiple hour excursions that I’m stretching my pedal leg with how much I have to bend it. The issue isn’t too bad if I tuck my foot under the left side, but not ideal. I am 6 feet tall with longer legs.

• Power

  Climbing hills seems to be more laborious than it should, but I also am comparing it to my work truck (F-150). Not a huge con.

  Great gas mileage. Drove sports cars my whole life n got tired of the expense of gas mileage n costly insurance. So decided I wanted something with leather, sunroof, spacious n long lasting. I decided one day I wanted a CRV n I traded the stang in.

  All the driving cautionary measures throw me off. Too lazy to educate myself on it all.
