• Power

  it’s probably underrated at 360 HP. at peak acceleration I can actually feel the flab on my face being pulled back

• Seat Comfort

  I drive about 25000 miles per year so a comfortable seat is a big deal.

• Reliability

  this is the second Q50 hybrid I’ve owned. I have only ever done routine maintenance.

Cons

  it may have 2 touch screens but they’re both slow and the voice recognition is not very good.

• Cargo Space

  The hybrid battery really eats into trunk space

• Cabin Noise

  it does have too much road noise for anything wearing a luxury badge.

  Engine has plenty of power.

  Love the layout and ease to use.

  Trunk is on the smaller side because of the hybrid battery. Has decent room but not a lot.

  You do lose a lot of trunk space in the hybrid. It’s fine for a grocery run but not much else.

  The seats are very comfortable but ventilated seats are not available at any price.

  For a powerful car, this still delivers good MPG

• Braking

  Braking distance is good. Pedal feels a bit soft. Bleeding and new brake fluid should sort it out.

• Styling

  This car looks great on the outside from every angle; better than the 3 series BMW that continues to be the benchmark for this class, deservedly or not.

  The power is very good, but the delivery can be awkward. Too many computers in the engine room!
