Fuel Economy
Fully charged, it only goes ten miles on electric charge. Then it converts over to gas, which means it's running on gas most of the time. The gas tank only holds 13 gallons. For local driving, it doesn't run long enough on gas to charge the electric fuel. Therefore, it is inefficient, doesn't give value for electric charge, and carries the weight of the electric battery, which drags down the gas mileage.
Value
The value for the electric charge isn't good for local driving. It maybe better suited for a long commuter drive each day.
Cost to Maintain
We have had the car for five months, and it has been in the shop three times for various repairs.
