2022 Highlander Hybrid replaced my 2007 Highlander Hybrid— excellent vehicle, super reliable, this one is a bit larger but gets substantially better mpg!
Cabin Noise
didn’t realize how much noise came through my 2007 model until I drove the 2022. very nice!
Interior Space
substantially more interior space but also considerably improved fuel efficiency compared to previous 2007 Highlander hybrid.
Dashboard
I don’t dislike it, just still getting used to it/ figuring it out! Big tech changes from my previous 2007 model. But the numerous safety features were a major part of decision to replace my old car— appreciate those.
Fuel Economy
in town high 30's, highway ave mid-30's on long trip.
Interior Space
With all seats flat, large area for hauling things. With middle seats down, "trunk " large & easily accessible.
Visibility
with all SUV's and pickups in CO, important to be able to see above and around larger vehicles. Mustang of 22 yrs I no longer felt safe to be in with larger, heavier vehicles.
Styling
Not hate it, but it's larger than I'm used to driving - learning curve required to park in narrow spaces .
Technology and Entertainment
The fancy car remotes have hard covers that require hard squeezes to unlock door/doors, and trunk reaction is a bit delayed (but nice to have especially in weather).
