Transmission: Automatic Color:Black Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (0 reviews) Traded up from a subaru tribeca-what a difference! Still have 4 wheel drive, but is an order of magnitude more satisfying to drive. I already have a mercedes CLK, and was thinking of a merc. m class, but the q-ship was superior in every way. The 3 L diesel is amazing, it pulls like a tractor and acceleration is great for a large vehicle. Havent had it long enough to comment on mileage although the needle is still on "F" after 2 days of driving! I am fairly demanding in my expectations at this price, and have no regrets thus far.

Overall Rating

Nice, but expensive to maintain

Nice luxury vehicle with all the bells and whistles. Nice, smooth ride and definitely a very eye catching vehicle. It handles great in snow and ice. However, be prepared for extreme gas bills and extreme maintenance costs. This SUV is a major gas guzzler. The tank is huge and a fill-up can easily put a dent in your pocket. I have also discovered that this SUV goes through brakes and tires very quickly. Overall, nice vehicle, but very expensive to maintain.

2008 Q7 3.6 Quattro

Great handling and looking SUV! It certainly stands out amongst the SUV clones. Nice balance of luxury and performance. Very solid feel and the Quattro gives you confidence during time of poor weather. Like with all used luxury vehicles, I suggest getting an extended warranty or to purchase one that has plenty of the manufactures warranty left. We had the MMI unit replaced and an ignition switch. These would have amounted to several thousands in repairs had it not been fully covered. We had a family of 6, a cargo carrier (which hurts aerodynamics) and a full trunk of luggage on an extended trip. The Q7 exceeded any expectations with comfort and we were pleased with the decent fuel economy of 19MPG. Overall we are very satisfied and looking would have made the purchase again.
