this is a great car! i had some problems in the buying stages with a sales manager lying to me, but it was not that big of a deal for the value of this car. the new 330ci's give you that old M3 feel, and power for a fraction of the cost. this car handles like a dream, it is 0-60 in around 5.7 sec. and the control and feel of the road is amazing. i would not recomend this car for a everyday drive around town car, after all it is a race car on the street. with out a doubt get a manual drive, if you want a car for the family to ride in look at the 330i or a 328i, no need spending money if you aren't going to use the car for what it is made for. i love it! if you are new to the bmw experience, i recomend finding a mechanic outside of a dealership. you'll find that oil changes and maitence are way cheaper! most people that do not like bmw's, do not like them because of the sterotype that they are expensive to maintain. DON'T GO TO THE DEALERSHIP! and you will find this to be false. i'm not rich by anymeans yet i have a 318ti and a 330ci. just be smart and it is very doable. hope this helps
This is a fantastic car, and I truly treasure it. See below for some details.
i agree with the last reviewer that old bmws are not for everyone. I have owned lots of them and if you are not mechanically inclined or a mechanic yourself, these cars will take your baby's milk. Do yourself a favor and buy a new toyota or nissan, your common sense will thank you for it. If you still want to buy and old used bmw, make sure you have an independent shop, that is very reliable and trustworthy look at it. Do not jump into dark waters blindfolded
