2012 Chevrolet CruzeAndrew - Houston, TX04/27/2015
I think that you get more for your money with the Chevy Cruz. The interior is very comfortable and the design as a whole is very appealing for me. It drives great and I think Chevrolet did fantastic, developing an economy car with somewhat luxury features. However, within a year I started having problems; fortunately, all were covered under warranty. The biggest draw back was driving through Florida, our car broke down; completely shutting off. We called Chevrolet and they arranged a tow truck to shuttle the car to the nearest dealer (for free), and they provided a rental car and taxi (potentially reimbursed). So I think if you're interested in this vehicle, just keep up the maintenance and you should be set to go!
GREAT Car...when it works!! 2013 vehicles shouldn't have problems like this
2013 Chevrolet CruzeTy - Stone Mountain, GA07/22/2014
Since I have had major problems recently, I would DEFINITELY NOT recommend this car to a friend.
Today is Tuesday, July 22, 2014. Thursday, July 10, I noticed the "Service Stabilitrak" "Service Traction" lights would come on, and then go away after a little while. However, when those lights came on, often times the center display would go out. If I were on a bluetooth call, the call would drop. If I were playing music, the music would stop and reset. The clock would always reset to 12:00. On Wednesday, July 16, 2014, I did the "normal, routine" things with my car. I drove it to work, and then to the gym. When I got home, the car was dead. Wouldn't let me remove the key, wouldn't crank up, etc. So angry that this is happening...
I love this car!
2013 Chevrolet CruzeTony - Turlock, CA08/05/2014
I commute ~160 mile a day so I needed a car that is comfortable and fun to drive but that gets great gas mileage. Add to that that I am historically a sport car driver and enthusiast. Well power and gas mileage don't usually run in the same leagues but this Cruze strikes a great balance. I got the 2LT model with the 1.4L turbo. You have to live with a little turbo lag and it's certainly not a V8, but I would not want the fuel bill that comes with a V8 either. That being said I have found the Cruze to be a blast to drive, even on long commutes. It handles every bit like a more expensive sports car. The tech is great and the feel of the interior it comfy and elegant.
