Roomy and lovely

I have two kids and I got the Pacifica for the much needed room. It did not disappoint! I got one with leather seats and a sunroof - and the added features - seat warmers (even for the back seats), driver seat memory, the leg room, the dvd player, the compass in the dash board, the motion sensors in the rear... I have got to say that this car is luxurious. I feel comfortable and pampered when I drive this car - I love it! I was also pleasantly surprised to find that it has a good pick up when I accelerate. It moves like a smaller faster car. The cons: 1)Trunk space - ugh, very small, but problem solved by flipping either back seat down - we fit our baby's huge stroller in that way. Seats easily flip down (use one finger, no big deal) 2)The big size of the car takes some getting used to when parking, maneuvering in tight places - blind spots aplenty. 3)Gas guzzler - but that's not surprising - it's AWD and big. I don't mind paying more for gas to ride in pure comfort. Overall - I love this car. I'm happy whenever I get into it. And it is virtually sound proof when I am in it - I can block out all the obnoxious sounds of the city when I want to! I have owned a mercedes before and I have to say this car reminds me of the luxury and smoothness of that sweet German engineering, but all still American! Gotta love that. I wish Chrysler would have continued making this "sexy soccer mom" car. I don't feel like an old mother of two in it, I'm still girl from dc, now with 2 trendy kids. I can't rave enough about it!

Looks better than a minivan, not as versatile.

Bought this car used with low miles needing a smaller alternative to my Expedition without losing too much hauling capacity. Decided to get the Pacifica over my personal favorite, the uncool minivan. I like the overall look of the car, exterior is rather stylish without being flashy. The interior is clean cut, kids love the rear individual seat, everyone has a window. There is not as much cargo room space as I thought. Can only fit a few items in the back without folding down the rear seats. Rides well, could use a bit more power and there is a blind spot in the rear corners but otherwise no complaints. Despite the comparisons, this car cannot replace a minivan if that is truly what you need.

Love this car!

I love all of the features and safety that the Pacifica provides me and my family. The lack of cargo space is the only thing that would cause me to shop for another vehicle. I love that it provides us nearly the amount of passenger space that a mini-van would but drives like a car. We have the Touring model with several upgrades and the features are just fabulous: the heated seats are great for when it's cold outside, the leather interior makes it easier to keep clean, power lift gate makes it easy to open the tail gate as I approach the vehicle (usually with hands full), the CD changer and satellite radio ensure you wont be bored with the music and can always find music that you like, the power seat memory option makes it easy to adjust back to my likings after my husband has driven and vice versa...I could go on and on about the features. This is the first vehicle that I could say I am very very happy with.
