For anyone looking for a beautiful muscle car that represents the early seventies either the R/T or SRT Challenger is it. The car is very quick, has a nice ride (not jarring like the Mustang or Camaro) and handles extremely well for a car this size. My Challenger R/T is plum purple and I get complemented on the car almost everytime I'm out driving it.

I've owned some nice cars before, but I receive compliments on my R/T literally EVERYWHERE I go since I mounted her wide summer tires on chrome rims. Just a subtle touch, but completes her look and puts her over the top! I can understand it happening at cruise nights and car shows because you expect to meet enthusiasts, but anywhere from gas stations to dining out to even going to the store, I receive many kind words wherever I go! For a V-8, she gets excellent gas mileage. She may not be the fastest car I've owned in the quarter mile (she's still largely stock), but she has excellent top end. Haven't had the nerve or an empty enough stretch of highway to find out her top speed yet. The important thing is her reliability and comfort!
Overall, I'm very happy with my Challenger. I've wanted one since they were announced as coming back, and I got a good deal on a the base V6 model. I really like the machine and driving feels nice and powerful. The trunk leaves something to be desired, and I'm not 100% sure why they placed the battery inside the trunk, which isn't able to be opened without battery power. If your battery dies, you'll either have to climb inside the trunk from the cabin, or jump the car from the front. Minor issues aside, it's comfortable and recommended for the wannabe car enthusiast who doesn't quite have the money, expertise or desire to go into the full-on V8 powerhouse vehicle range.
