Transmission: Automatic Color:Gray Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (0 reviews) Comparing it to the Tahoe. Purchased used and was approximately $7000 less in price with 10000 less miles at time of purchase. Feels and is a bit smaller than the Tahoe and with the R/T package (Hemi) with AWD can tow up to 7200#. Fit and finish is comparable to Tahoe. Intermittent AWD is the biggest disappointment in the snows of the Pacific NW. Not a city driver with poor gas mileage. On the interstate getting between 21-23 MPG varies with wind direction and which set of tires I have on the car. These MPG numbers are when going approximately 0-5 MPG over the posted speed limit. The 8 speed transmission shifts like a dream but not a fan of the paddle shifters (May still not know how to keep them disengaged all the time.)

Transmission: Automatic Color:Blue Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (3.923 reviews) The Durango, particularly used, it's an extreme value. We got ours fully loaded with the hemi at a great price. It drives and handles like a sports car. In short the Durango is a great family car that is still a blast to drive. My only gripes are the city gas mileage sucks (approx 13-14) but that's to be expected. The six speed transmission can be a bit finnicky. Dodge upgraded it to a smoother 8 speed for 2014. It's a better trans but dodge changed the trim levels so getting a hemi requires dropping some serious dough on a Citadel or RT.

Great!!!!

Our Durango is a great SUV. We have a 2005 silver Limited 4x2 W/ traction control. The HEMI has strong acceleration, on par with a 60s muscle car. You wouldn't buy this for the fuel economy, but we get about 15mpg in town and about 21.8 on the highway, gently cruising at 65mph. The seats are very comforable and the third row can accomadate adults comforably, without you knees being up to your head, like a Tahoe. The DVD player is great, but you only the factory headphones work. It rides very smoothly. The traction control comes in handy when you drive on wet grass and you are steppin' on it. It handles dirt roads very well. The turn radius is very good, 39.9 feet. Parking it can get a bit hairy in very tight spaces, but that's normal of any large SUV. We put about 800 pounds of laminate in the back and it didn't seeem to notice. That makes us believe it would make an excellent tow vehicle.

Loved the car!

I love driving this car. I wanted to try a smaller SUV then my Tahoe I have.... and the Durango caught my eye. My kids love it and so did I. But Its not made for a big family and dogs that take beach trips a lot. So sadly I trader her in. But I would recommend this SUV to anyone who would ask. Great fuel mileage!
