Great Car, Was Not Informed of Transmission Recall
2012 Ford FocusDanielle Stelzer - Tampa, FL04/15/2016
I never pictured myself driving a Ford Focus but had to find something reasonably priced and quick after getting into an accident. My Focus is a sporty hatchback model with a sunroof which is great for my lifestyle as someone who was a previous Jeep owner. The only issue with this car is that I wasn't made aware of the transmission recall that needed to be repaired. This is something Ford will cover, however it takes several months and a few trips to the dealership to get the issue resolved. Once it is resolved, they warn you that this may occur every so often due to how the car is built. I would rate this car 5 stars if it didn't have this issue, however it has been pretty frustrating dealing with the transmission every so often.
No so good car

I got the car and several months later I began having issues with the transmission/clutch took it to ford for repair since it was still covered under power train. It was fixed, then AGAIN check engine light came on for same transmission issue. Yes, its good on gas! But in the long run its transmission issues become super annoying. I wouldn't recommend this type of car to anyone.

I love my new Ford Fusion. It has a lot of trunk space and my 6'5" husband can fit comfortably in the back seat (can't say that about many cars this size). The only issue I have had is that I am shorter and the cup holders and the storage compartment in the console between the seats are not in a comfortable place for me. However, the gas mileage is great and I really enjoy driving it.
