Reviews for 2014 GMC Sierra 1500

Overall Rating

4.7 out of 5 (11 reviews)

Great truck for towing.

Exceeds all expectations and competitors in similar markets.

Pros

  • Reliability: Never has issues even when towing an excess of 9000lbs.
  • Fuel Economy: For a full size v8 truck, It gets excellent fuel economy. (16-22mpg).
  • Power: I tow a lot, and this truck never gives way or lags when hauling.

Cons

  • Technology and Entertainment: Its a very dated interior, not necessarily a con, because it is expected of a 2014. Actually its quite modern and advanced for a 2014, but it can't compete with anything new on the market.
  • Visibility: The stock 2014 halogen headlights are very dull, and should probably be replaced if you expect to drive in snow or rain.
  • Braking: Lots of brake dust. Nothing extreme, but definitely annoying if you like to keep your truck meticulously clean.
