The 2019 GMC Yukon XL 1500 offers exceptional interior and cargo space, smooth handling, and strong entertainment features. However, concerns about fuel economy, maintenance costs, braking for its weight, and occasional reliability issues detract from its appeal. It suits larger families needing space but may not satisfy those seeking speed or cost efficiency.
Space will never be an issue. We moved across the country as a family of 4 with 2 dogs and 2 cats. Carrying all our necessities for a 5 day drive and everyone was comfortable the whole time.
We drove 2600 miles, every available spot was packed with something, averaged 72 MPH on our trip and got 19.5 miles to the gallon. I would say that was a pleasant surprise as it has a large V8 and weighs a lot.
We bought the vehicle being 5 years old mainly due tot he fact that it still looked fantastic. It has great styling and comfort that doesn't feel out of date.
Being a vehicle that weighs over 6000 pounds you can defiantly feel it when you come to a stop. Just something to get used to.
The Denali trim will be a bit more expensive when it comes to tires as it has 22" rims. Expect to pay a few hundred more.
I wish it had more features to show about the vehicle but overall is still good.
it took a while to get used to all the functions but they are all very useful
the four heated buckets are great and the cooled front seats are really nice on a hot day.
sound system is very good and the built in TV’s are great.
it has more than the short bed but my Suburban had about 10” more length, which helped with all the soccer stuff.
Lots of space for a large family
The engine is making a loud ticking/knocking noise. Been trying to schedule a RepairPal vendor through MaxCare and have been having a hard time getting a company to accept the appointment.
