What customers are saying

The 2017 Infiniti QX70 delivers sporty performance with a powerful V6, standout styling, and reliability, making it a favorite for confident driving. Customers commend its handling and cargo space but critique its tight rear seating, dated infotainment system, cabin noise, and fuel efficiency. While modern updates could enhance its value, its overall driving pleasure remains a strength.

Underrated Performance SUV

The QX70 is a great used performance SUV, and one that is often overlooked by buyers. Most obviously, it combines the practicality of an SUV (7" of ground clearance, high seating position, optional AWD, decent sized trunk, comfortable seating for five, etc.), with the looks, sound, and performance of a sports car. Less obvious, however, is the fact that it's going to be significantly more reliable than the European offerings. Most of the vehicle, including the engine and transmission, debuted back in 2008/2009 and have been thoroughly time-tested. Also, there's no doubt in my mind that the QX70 is one of the most attractive vehicles of the modern era - it's stunning to look at from most angles. All that being said, it's not perfect - the transmission is mediocre, especially for sportier driving, the interior is dated, and the cabin can be a little noisy during highway driving. Absolutely worth a test drive, though.

PROS
Power

The 3.7L V6 is glorious - it sounds great and can really move the car if you step on it.

Reliability

Should prove to be much more reliable than a European SUV, especially a used one.

Styling

Stunningly gorgeous. I look back at it almost every time I park it.

CONS
Cabin Noise

By modern standards, the cabin is poorly insulated from outside noises.

Technology and Entertainment

The interior space and technology is fairly dated for a 2017 vehicle. You'll want to upgrade to the QX70s for a few more goodies.

PROS
Value

Good Value for the money

Power

The power is there when you need it too.

Styling

The styling is classic infinity. Nothing else like it on the road. Looks fast sitting still.

CONS
Fuel Economy

With power comes loss of fuel economy and premium fuel. But you pay to play.

Interior Space

The back seat is a little tight. But, since its only two of us, its a non issue.
