Does what you ask it to.
If you're looking at an F-Type, it's more than likely because you want a refined little two-seater that does what you ask it to. This car delivers. Don't ask it to haul your golf clubs, or your hockey gear, or your over-sized suitcase. That's not what it's for. This car is for date night with your spouse; a long, back-road adventure to a neighboring town/state/province/whatever you Brits do. I would not take the F-Type on a multi-state, 2,000 mile journey; that's what Cadillacs and Lincolns are for. If you want a little sports car with the right balance of muscle and style, you'd have a tough time doing much better than the Jaguar F-Type.

Power
Beautiful sporty lines with lots of power, excellent handling, tight, responsive steering, fantastic ever so smooth transmission and plenty of snarling horsepower under the hood.
Ride and Handling
Handles like a dream with very tight, responsive steering and smooth as silk shifing transmission.
CONS
Ride and Handling
Handling is extraordinary but the ride is a bit stiff overall, but maybe necessary given all the power and responsiveness of the car.

This car is stunningly beautiful, but it is beast under the hood. It is far faster than I knew when I bought it. Top speed 171 mph and 0-60 at 4.8 seconds.

This car has far more power than you need unless you are going to track it
