Not very roomy or fast and it likes fuel (only around 18 mpg hwy) but a solid SUV that with proper tires will get you almost anywhere. My Jeep has the manual transmission which in my opinion is better than the auto on 2007-2011 models and helps a bit with the mileage. It,s a ton of fun with the soft top down and you always get waves from other Jeepers. But they do stand out a bit so if you would rather not be seen you might want to look elsewhere, however if you want a vehicle that works hard and plays harder you will be pleased. Not to mention the HUGE variety of aftermarket accessories available to make it your own!
I wanted a change of pace for my daily driver. I figured a Jeep Wrangler would be a nice change. I was right. Now that I am used to driving my Jeep I love it. It makes me feel safe while being on the road with some not so great drivers here in Southern California.
I would recommend this vehicle for anyone looking for a fun and versatile vehicle. One moment I could be driving with my top down and doors off enjoying the weather, and in another moment i could driving through mud and exploring trails where normal cars can't go. The jeep is also amazing in the snow. While my nieghbors' cars were stuck on the side of the road and slidding all over the place, my jeep handled quite nicely and I was able to navigate just fine. I also love the mods one can put on a jeep. Jeeps are probably one of the most customizable vehicles on the market. Ranging from different types of lift kits, tires, winches, front and rear bumpers, side flares, lighting, almost everything on this vehicle can be changed.
