Still rides like a jeep, still goes where I want to go but now I have enough room for a couple of our kids, dogs and gear. You don't buy a jeep because they are cheap, quiet or have a smooth ride. You buy them because they do what you want to do, no matter the terrain or the weather. This is my 4th jeep and I love it!
Jeep Wrangler is a fun loving vehicle. Being able to remove doors and tops makes it so fun in the summer and trips to the beach. 4WD comes in handy during snow storms and off roading. Hard top makes for a much quieter ride than the soft top, but I find the freedom panels a bit of a hassle to remove. There is tons more cargo space with the 4 door, and the fold down seats makes for even more. Not the best vehicle for long commutes, as fuel economy is 14mpg. This is my second Wrangler, I have driven this brand and vehicle for 8+ years and love it.
Fully capable winter vehicle-4x4 would survive better at snow 3 ft deep in Chicago. If my front wheel drive 1997 Ford Escort survived that, more so with this. The only thing that stopped that car of mine was a 4 foot snow drift. Lucky for me there was a jeep wrangler in front that rammed his way through it with barely a shudder. That incident made a believer out of me. Cons: This is NOT Repeat NOT A CAR so, don't expect gas mileage and all the comforts and quietness of a HOME COUCH or a ROLLS ROYCE-This is a JEEP!!
